Make a Fall Craft: Spider Cider

Rebecca Bardelli
Fall is my favorite season as it brings cool weather and beautiful colors. The cool weather brought by fall is the perfect time to enjoy a cup of hot spiced cider. Celebrate fall with me by making an autumn craft.

Supplies:

  • Apple Cider (in individual pouches)
  • Black envelopes (5 1/4 x 7 1/4 )
  • Galaxy Marker in Milky Way White or any white marker (acid free, writes on dark paper, broad tip)
  • Adhesive tape runner (permanent)
  • Scissors

Directions:

  1. Place a packet of apple cider in the black envelope so that it is mostly covered by the envelope.
  2. Cut the envelope lengthwise leaving just enough paper to fold over and cover the cider.
  3. The remaining paper is going to serve as the witch hat for the spider.
  4. Use adhesive tape to fold and seal the paper to fully cover the cider. Fold the cut portion of the envelope first and then fold the uncut portion over top.
  5. Draw a spider with the white marker and write the words, Spider Cider. Also draw a white line across the spider's witch hat.
  6. Use adhesive to place the hat on the spider.

Spider Cider is a fun craft to make and give away as gifts during the fall. Enjoy making and drinking Spider Cider!
