Make Fun Valentine's for Kids

Valentine's day is fun for adults and kids alike. Kids sometimes have more fun with Valentine's day than adults do. Here is a really cute Valentine's day idea to make to give to your kids or you could help your kids make these Valentine's to take to their friends and classmates. They are fun to make and not too expensive.

CANDY: First you will need to purchase some candy. It could be Valentine's day M & M's or other chocolate or even white chocolate Valentine's day candy. Try to find some cute candy, as it will be showing on the Valentine.

SMALL CLEAR GLADWEAR: Next you will need to get some small (1 cup) size gladwear containers. Many times you can find these for very reasonable prices or you may have some extras at home. Try to get gladwear that is completely clear, not colored, for best viewing results.

RIBBONS AND FABRIC: Next you will need some Valentine's day ribbon or fabric to add to your special & fun Valentine for kids. Find some ribbon or fabric that has hearts on it and is pink and red to make it festive for Valentine's day.

PAPER & GLUE: Get some pink and red colored construction paper and a fancy pen to write with. Get some glue also to attach the ribbon, fabric, and paper with.

MAKE YOUR VALENTINE: Once you have all of the supplies you need you can put your Valentine together. First, add the candy to your gladwear. Simply place a few various pieces of your Valentine's day candy in the gladwear container and put the lid on.

Now comes the fun part of decorating your special Valentine's. Cut the construction paper into small circles to fit on the bottom or sides of the gladwear containers. You can write special Valentine's day notes and wishes on small pieces of the construction paper and the person's name who it is for and glue them to the sides or bottom of the Valentine.

Next, cut the ribbon or fabric into a piece long enough to wrap around the edge of the lid for the gladwear. Then glue the cut ribbon or fabric all the way around the edge of the lid. This makes it more festive and cute for the kids.

Now your Valentine's day treats are ready to hand out. Your kids will love getting these or helping to make these for Valentine's day.
