Many times people get involved in internet schemes thinking that they are going to get rich by setting back and letting their website do the work. Just like in a brick and mortar business it takes hard work and money to make money. The internet is the same thing as investing in a brick and mortar business. When someone sends you that deal that says you can't lose! Beware! Odds are it is not as good as they tell it. After all who is going to tell you that they invested thousands of dollars and untold hours in a business that failed the best business is usually the one who is selling you their business and selling it over and over again. After the hype then go and check out the real scoop! I am not saying that all business ventures are bad just beware of those who are before you spend time and money.
A business that requires you to set up a website, and then enlist others to make money will usually cost you more money than it is worth. After all how many people do you know who will sign up for the business? Who will even find your website? How much will you spend in order to get traffic coming your way? The best of the worst that I got involved with was that of giving away free prescription cards. I thought this would make money left and right. Wrong!? First in order to be a part of the group there was a monthly fee for my website. There is a fee to get business cards, run an ad to enlist new people to sign up under you and it goes on and on. I even went out and spoke to local groups, churches, etc. to give away the cards. I made approximately $30 all told but paid out $39 each month for the privilege of giving out the cards. What a bust! I made next to nothing on the cards and most people have some sort of insurance so they really did not benefit either.
The other project is that of trying out projects and earning money. Please! You have to sign up for memberships in book clubs, video clubs, all sorts of things, you pay the advertisers and make about $2 to $5 per and you end up spending hundreds of dollars. Then of course there is the wholesale websites where they give you access to thousands of dollars worth of merchandise which is true but then you need to invest in finding customers. People are not going to buy from you when they can join the same program and get the same deals you do. Don't despair there are good sound programs that will pay you!
One of my favorite things to do is write articles on the internet. You can write for companies similar to Associated Content and earn money. You can also go to freelance companies on line and find people who need writers. I have found this to be rather prosperous as well. You are hired to write articles for an extended amount of time or just a certain amount of articles. You do have to pay the companies a small fee but you still do earn an income. Other companies will post your work and you do not need to pay them but get paid in accordance to your performance. You can earn money with eBay but it is advisable to find out the right procedures to handle this and e-bay will train you so you are not loosing. Remember there are ways to earn income from the internet but like everything else you can lose if you are not careful. It is up to you to gather all the information before you decide what you want to do.

Post a CommentGreat article. I've found the two best legitimate ways to make money online are writing articles and creating art for POD (Print on Demand) websites like Zazzle. It takes a little while to get the ball rolling, but it's worth it. Too bad so many people get sucked into scam "opportunities".
great article :)
