Make the Lord Your Refuge

Refuge from the Storm!

Reflection: When you fear (reverently worship) the Lord, obey his voice (His word) you will walk in the light and darkness will have no part of you. Today we find that there are many paths of religion that we can take. When we are the very reflection of the Lord, we will make Him our refuge. We will reverantly worship and fear Him and recognized that we are not living our lives for our sake, but we are living our lives to bring glory to Him. The bible says that you cannot serve two masters, you will hate the one and love other. By serving the world, you make it your master. By serving Jesus you turn your back on the worldly ways and decide to follow Jesus! A whole generation is waiting to hear about the good news of Jesus Christ. If we don't Go they won't know. Evangelism starts in your own back yard! A neighborhood set on fire, will light a city, will ignite a state and will spread through the nation. Jesus had to fight every religious devil in his day & its no different today. Whole cities will have the blood on their hands because they tried to stop, block, prevent the move of God! The move of God will not be stopped! Jesus Christ is the head of the church and the gates of HELL will not prevail & HIS church will be built!

Nahum 1:7 The LORD is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him.

Isaiah 50:10 "Who among you fears the LORD? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness And has no light? Let him trust in the name of the LORD And rely upon his God.

Beautiful job my friend. Love these scriptures. Your last one reminds me of another Isaiah quote, 66:2 that reads "..."This is the one I esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at my word.".
