Make Money During the Holidays

2010 Holiday Self Employment Ideas

Faith Dosier
It's the end of the year and the holidays are here again. Some of us are as usual going to procrastinate and put off shopping but others are going to earn some money this holiday season. Its 2010 and this year has not been easy many of our countries citizens economically but if you have any of that good ol' American spirit in you. Then you will make money by some good old-fashioned hard work.

No Job that's ok, make one up. Chances are if your reading this article you're on the internet so you've got some intelligence. If you have a natural talent or a skill you are good at then this is the time to profit from it. Crafters you know the winter is your time of year.

Best Crafts to Capitalize on:

Knitted and Crocheted Accessories

If you can do either of these two crafts well and quickly, then you can literally turn $1.98 and about three to four hours into a profit of anywhere from $18 to as much as $60.00 and up. It depends on what you make and how you can incorporate it into today's fashion.

HINT: ALWAYS WEAR SOMETHIG YOU CREATED AND HAVE ITEMS FOR SALE STASHED NEATLY AWAY AT ALL TIMES

Artists and Musicians

If you can draw or play nearly any type of musical instrument then you are ready to draw sketch family portraits for holiday gifts and play soft music during holiday functions and events. This is the time of year when people want to get classy and often will turn it up a notch if given the mere suggestion.

Now if you can think of any talents to capitalize off then don't forget about your skill and assets you have on hand. Well if you're on the internet, and have anything you no longer need like books, old games, etc. Then sell that online on an auction site or an online merchant like Amazon. Do some survey's for pennies until they add up, write on a few online content mills, try your hand at selling photos online to picture content mills. Don't overlook any opportunity because they all add up to dollars and the end result is all the counts.
