Make Money on Ebay by Selling These 4 Bizarre Products

EBay Selling Can Be Easy with the Right Products, Even If They Are Bizarre

Making money on eBay is a real profitable business. The concept of being the best seller is finding items your buyer want that perhaps aren't the ordinary. Borderline bizarre items sell well and bring a value to not only the items posted on the auction, but also to you as the seller. It makes you a commodity in the buyer's eyes so next time they look for something a bit offbeat, they check out your eBay store and eBay auctions first, giving you a leg up on the competition.

There is no difference in posting these items compared to other eBay auction items (like jeans and jackets.) In fact you don't want to make them too crazy or people will flake on paying. Instead focus on the write up. Provide your buyers with plenty of pictures, give all the details and start the bidding at a reasonable price so it can be bid up quickly!

Here are the top four bizarre products to sell on eBay and make money.

1. Coupons. The local grocery stores offer coupons for free at your corner market. Pick up those flat pieces of paper and get them on eBay. Coupon sales on eBay are fast and fierce. Usually sold in lots of 10, 15, or 20 coupons, buyers expect free shipping but are willing to pay up to half price of the coupon. For example, if it is $2 off per coupon, consider offering it for $1 times the number of coupons in the lot.

2. Well worn shoes. If this isn't a bizarre category, then I don't know what is! eBay buyers want to buy name brand well worn shoes and they are willing to pay more than the new price. Start the shoes low and watch them bid up. Recently a pair of my pumas went for over $70. Badly ripped and hole worn could only describe these old shoes. After buyer got the note, I got a sweet note thanking me as they felt the purchase was perfect. To each their own I say (while pocketing the profit.)

3. Window clings. Every dollar and 99 cent store will have them for holidays and your eBay buyers expect to pay four to five bucks each. This quick profit is only compounded by cheap shipping so you will make even more. Holiday such as Halloween, Christmas and Easter are all great for window cling sales.

4. Pine Cones. I guess not everyone had a tree in their backyard to pick up after the cones drop. But those who do have the trees are extremely lucky as plenty of buyers are interested in purchasing the cones, especially if the cones have not been sprayed with chemicals. Bags of pine cones on eBay are sold in lots with a number of cones states. Depending on the size, you can see lots of 20 pine cones being sold for $5 - 7 plus postage.

Selling products on eBay and being successful at it requires you to think, gradually, outside the box. Find items that aren't always available in every part of the country and even items that are a bit impulsive for purchases. This way, your customers will be intrigued and want your items sent to them (right after purchase.)
