Make Money Just for Discussing

While I was surfing the web I came across a post on a message forum talking about how they earned $30.00 in one month just by posting to discussion forums. I thought, wow I could use an extra $30.00 a month and that doesn't sound to hard. I clicked on the referring link and was brought to a website called MyLot.

Mylot is a bright white background website that shows you recent topics, discussions and what Mylot is all about. It states that users earn money for posting discussions, responses and comments. You can earn a percent of money from your referrals. You must earn either $10, $25 or $50 for payout. You decide which payout amount you would like. They pay in either paypal or e-gold. The website explains how to sign up for either of these accounts. So far many have stated they have been paid. If you earn enough money by the end of the month, the next following month you get paid. For example, if you earned $10.00 by the end of March, around April 15th you'll be paid the $10.00 either via paypal or e-gold.

Each day your personal earning reports are updated once a day. You are told how much you have earned through each category. The earning categories are discussions, images and referrals. Recently there have been complaints of people's post number being reduced. Mylot has been doing some cleaning up of spamming. Also others have had an issue with their earnings being reduced because of this. Some have lost only a few cents while others are being deducted dollars. Mylot does keep a watchful eye out for spamming. If you are found to be a spammer, you account and earnings are terminated. I was personally deducted a few cents but that hasn't stopped me from continuing with Mylot.

There is a lengthy page of dos and don't that I highly suggest you read over before you start posting. You wouldn't want to have several posts done only to find out they will be deleted because it contains an item from the don't list. Mylot is okay with posting website links in regards to a conversation but referral links are prohibited. You will get a warning from the Mylot staff before and if you continue to post those types of links, your account is terminated.

The website at Mylot definitely is colorful enough with pictures for every interest. But for some with not so fast connection speeds, it can take longer to post. Also Mylot brings you to a page after each post on whether or not you'd like to post a tag. A tag is a keyword related to post so others can search for that topic. I've always added tags but it can become irritating being asked to every time when other websites don't require this. Also Mylot has star ratings after a member has posted 100 times. Members can rate other members and the star rating goes up or down. 1 is the lowest and 10 is the highest. Keep in mind that if someone doesn't agree with you, they may rate you poorly.
