Play games all day long and make real money for free! Sound too good to be true? That's because it is. The net is littered with sites promising good players, heck even bad players, free cash in their pockets for simply playing simple online games of a variety of types. No risk involved, gamble free. Who wouldn't want to know if that's a legitimate opportunity? It's every 10 year olds dream. Here we're going to take a look at a few of the big boys in the free online game site game, and you can judge if it's well, your game.

I have personally participated in all sites mentioned for at least a year plus. Other's results may vary, so I will attempt to give the benefit of the doubt.

www.pogo.com:

Pogo is free to play, but also offers special member's only perks that can be obtained for $5.99 a month. Those in the "pogo club" receive double jack pots and access to certain games that are not available to the free loader. The jack pots are a cash prizes that climb like a clock from $0 to the top payout of $4999.00. To get a jack pot spin you have to complete different tasks in each game. There are also other prizes on the spin wheel such as smaller cash prizes (ex/ $20.00) and merchandise from the site (ex/ a mug), some of these prizes can also be won during game play. You also earn free tokens for the games you play which can be entered into a raffle for months prizes. (ex/ a barbecue set).

The pros:

- Offers a wide range of options for those not paying.
- Has a vast variety of games

The cons:

-I never actually won anything after being with this sites for 2+ years, playing free or paying. This suggests the chance of winning to be very slim.
-If you are to win, and are a member your max payout is still $4999.00, making it pointless past the half way mark.

www.worldwinner.com:

This one is a bit different. World winner is actually a site where you play games against other people. For example, I play solitaire and get an ending score of 1750, I'd be matched up against one to thousands of other players completing for a cash prize. Tournaments vary in size and prize payout. You can play one free game that has a cash prize a day that is decided by the site on a "free play calender", as well as unlimited warm up games that have no prizes. For the majority of cash games you must first deposit money, and then have that to play with. It's more of competition based on player's skill. Worldwinner runs many promoting contests and charity drives, some of which you can again win month prizes (ex/ $20 free game dollars a month for 20 years). You also obtain reward points for all games played that can be redeemed in a site store, for game play credits, gift cards, cash, etc. Players are matched by a level which increases with wins to keep game matches fair.

The pros:

-The competition element makes this a more exciting gaming experience.
-The amount you earn is based on your game skill, and less on chance.

The cons:

-Has limited games that are actually free.
-The site does have game disconnection issues, but they have in my experience always refunded any lost funds because of them within 48 hours.

www.iwon.com

Of the three I have the least experience with iwon. In set up it is very similar to pogo.com, with progressive jackpots you spin for to win. They also offer a free prize wheel, and a free prize machine which each members gets 5 spins daily to see if they can win. More free spins are awarded for game play, as well as tokens to enter raffles which work the same as the above mentioned. Iwon is free to play. You can also win by doing things that don't involve gaming, for example using their search bar rather than say google or yahoo. Iwon has never requested payment from me, I assume they run off google ad revenues.

The pros:

-They offer the same options to all players, having no pay to play option.
-Has by far the most games.

The cons:

-Again, I've never won anything playing with this site, which suggests the odds to win are low.
-Has a great deal of advertising and pop ups.

The winner?

All three sites offer the same basic group of games, some a bit more, some a bit less. Personally, my favorite is www.worldwinner.com, because it has offered the most legitimate results for time put in. My second choice would be pogo.com because of it's limited ad interruption, and increased variety for those playing for free. These sites aren't for gamblers, they aren't gambling. You can't lose money if you don't put any out, so there is no risk involved. However, you can't expect much for nothing, and thinking that you'll make enough money to quit your job, and play games all day is simply a 10 year olds dream. All that's really offered from any of the sites is a chance to win money for playing games for free.
