What do I write about?
The great thing about writing reviews on Review Stream is that you can review anything. And I mean anything. From websites to books to cities, services and food, Review Stream takes them all. You can review anything you like or dislike. The trick is to write about your personal experiences.
If I can't think of anything to review, I just go to my refrigerator, open it up and choose a couple food items to review. I have written reviews for Review Stream for toiletries, cosmetics, groceries, books and restaurants.
How much does Review Stream pay?
Review Stream currently pays $2.00 per accepted review and if your review isn't up to par, they will pay you the bulk rate of .40, which is one fifth of the standard pay. So, no matter what you'll get paid for writing reviews on Review Stream.
Of course, no one wants to make the bulk rate. I've got plenty of tips to help you earn the $2.00 rate for every review you write for Review Stream.
How do I avoid the dreaded bulk rate?
The first thing you need to know is that you can get paid $2.00 per review no matter what you review if you just follow these guidelines. It's not difficult. I do it every day.
First, I have never been paid the standard rate on Review Stream for any review that is under four hundred words. Make sure you write at least four hundred words for every review. It may sound difficult to write a four hundred word review about your laundry detergent but when you sit down, you'll be surprised just how much you have to say.
Second, make sure you include personal experience you have had with the product. For instance, if your new shampoo made your hair feel bouncy and soft, write about it. If you just tried a frozen pizza and found it tasted very good but you had to bake it longer than indicated on the package, write about that. This is a big deal to Review Stream editors. They want personal experience and lots of it. Make sure to include how much your family liked it or what you did differently than the packaging directed, etc.
Avoid descriptions found on the packaging. Review Stream doesn't want descriptions which can be found everywhere but the personal experience of a consumer.
Also, make sure your review is free of spelling errors and grammatical mistakes. Basic writing skills apply when writing reviews for Review Stream.
Tips for Making it to Four Hundred Words
If I just cannot come up with four hundred words about a product, I'll add a paragraph at the bottom stating my rating for the product, why I recommend it and to whom I would recommend it.
Another helpful tip for making it to four hundred words is to detail your family's reaction to the product. If it's a food item, did everyone enjoy it or do you have a picky eater who hated it? Write everything you can think of that relates to the product and remember, the more personal the better when writing for Review Stream.
How do you make $180 per month on Review Stream?
I write three reviews per day for Review Stream which equals $180 per thirty days when I am paid the standard rate. It takes me about fifteen minutes to write a review for a total of about 45 minutes of work per day. I don't think this is too shabby. If you could manage five reviews per day, that would equal an extra $300 per month. As you can see, there is quite a potential to make extra money on Review Stream.
When I first started writing reviews for Review Stream, I was paid the bulk rate on many articles until I figured out what they were looking for. I hope this article will help you make the most money on Review Stream.
Other Tips For Writing on Review Stream
When submitting your article on Review Stream, you'll be given a series of check boxes to select before submission. One of those authorizes Review Stream to pay you the bulk rate. NEVER check this box! If for some reason your review is declined for the standard rate, you can resubmit it for the bulk rate. But, if you submit it with permission to pay you the bulk rate upfront, how much do you think you'll be paid?
Always use the same email address when submitting reviews to Review Stream. You don't have an actual account to sign in to the website. Your account balance is attached to your email address. Because you must earn $50 before you can request payment, if you are using more than one email address, you'll have to wait longer for pay out. Review Stream will not allow you to combine accounts if you've been using multiple email addresses.
Your account balance will be updated each time a review is accepted. If you want to check your account balance in the meantime, you can request it by clicking "Request Account Total" from the FAQ page on the Review Stream website. This is a tip I wish someone would've given me when I first started writing reviews on Review Stream.
Also, do not publish reviews on Review Stream that you have published elsewhere. This will get you banned from Review Stream. They want exclusive reviews. This also means that once you submit a review to Review Stream, you can't submit it for publication anywhere else.
And finally, don't start to worry if you don't get accepted within the 72 hours promised on the website. In my experience it almost always takes about four days before you get an acceptance email from Review Stream.
