If you have a spring event coming up, such as a banquet, wedding, baby shower, or even just a large Easter dinner this is a great idea to seat people. These name place candy pot holders will let each person know where their assigned seat is. Follow these steps to create these cute name place candy pot holders.

ITEMS NEEDED:

You will need enough tiny terra cotta flower pots for each guest to have one. Next, you will need small pieces of floral foam to fit into the bottom of your tiny flower pots. You will also need a hot glue gun and some Easter basket grass. You will need some acrylic paint as well, you may want to get two colors, especially if it is for a wedding, you could use white as one of the colors. Get some pieces of floral wire, 12 guage will work well. Finally, get some chocolate individually wrapped candy.

CREATE THESE NAME PLACE CANDY POT HOLDERS:

The first step to creating these name place holders is to paint your tiny terra cotta pots. You could paint them white or any other color that you would like. Once the first coat of paint has dried, decide if you need a second coat or not. When these coats are dried, then you can take your second color of paint and paint a guests name on each pot. This will serve the purpose of the name card.

Then you will place the tiny peice of floral foam into the bottom of each pot, gluing it into the bottom, then glue a tiny bit of the Easter basket grass on top of the floral foam. Once this step is done, cut your floral wire down to about 3 or 4 inch pieces. Once the wire is cut, place a few pieces of the individually wrapped chocolate candy onto each piece of wire and arrange three or four pieces of the wire into each persons flower pot. Now you can set these on the tables where you want people to be seated and your finished.
