What You Need:
1 gallon popped corn (2/3 cup unpopped makes 1 gallon pooped FYI)
1 cup brown sugar
1 stick margarine
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup raw peanuts
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 teaspoon soda
What You Do:
Pop the corn and place in a heat resistant container. Combine the sugar, margarine, syrup and peanuts and bring to a boil. Cook it for minutes, then remove from heat and add the vanilla nd soda. Stir until it foams. Pour over popcorn. Mix well! Spread onto large cookie sheet with sides. You'll want to bake this mixture at 250 degrees fahrenheit for 30-45 minutes, stirring it every 10 minutes! Pour onto wax paper to cool.
Break the mixture apart after cooling, and store in airtight container.
You can make your own cracker jack bags for on-the-go snacking as well!
