You will need a clean spray bottle for each of these laundry stain removers. You can find spray bottles in the gardening section of your local department store for around a dollar each. You will also need labels and a magic marker. It's important to always label home made cleaning solutions so they won't be used improperly.

Make Your Own Laundry Stain Removers - All-Purpose Laundry Stain Remover

This recipe makes a wonderful, all-purpose laundry stain remover that can be used on any washable fabric and a variety of stains. I usually keep a bottle of this made up in my laundry room.

Ingredients:

1 part Rubbing alcohol

2 parts Water

Directions:

Combine the ingredients and spray on stains. Let the solution soak for a few minutes and then launder as usual.

Make Your Own Laundry Stain Removers - Wine and Grass Stain Remover

This recipe makes one of the best wine and grass laundry stain removers.

Ingredients:

1 part White Vinegar

1 part Liquid Dishwashing Soap

1 part Water

Directions:

Mix all the ingredients together. Shake well and work the solution into the stain. Let the garment soak for a few minutes and then launder as usual.

Make Your Own Laundry Stain Removers - Grease and Oil Stain Remover

This recipe makes a laundry stain remover that will get tough grease and oil stains out of clothes for good.

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon Glycerin

1 tablespoon Liquid Dishwashing Soap

8 tablespoons Water

Directions:

Combine all the ingredients. Work the solution into the stain and let the garment sit for four or five minutes. Rinse with cool water and then launder as usual.

Make Your Own Laundry Stain Removers - Blood, Urine and Perspiration Stain Remover

This laundry stain remover will work well on blood, urine and perspiration stains.

Ingredients:

1 part Ammonia

1 part Liquid Dishwashing Soap

1 part Water

Directions:

Mix the ingredients together in a spray bottle and shake well. Work the solution into the stain. Let the garment sit for a few minutes, rinse with cool water and launder as usual.

Make Your Own Laundry Stain Removers - Tips for Use

Do not use any of these laundry stain removers on silk, wool, spandex or acrylic. They are for fabrics that can be laundered in the washing machine only. If you aren't sure, do a spot test first to make sure the solution doesn't damage your fabric.
