This fresh, mint foot cream with sooth your tired toes. It is cooling and refreshing because of the peppermint and spearmint essential oils in the cream. Applying this luxurious cream should alleviate the effects of a long day on your feet. It will also help keep the skin on your feet smooth and healthy. If you prefer different oils or herbs, feel free to experiment and personalize this cream to meet your own personal preferences. Just remember to record your experiments so that you can repeat your favorite combinations, and avoid repeating those you do not like. Also, remember to test for allergic reaction and sensitivities before using.

Ingredients:

10 Drops of peppermint essential oil

2 Tablespoons of spearmint infusion

2 Teaspoons of beeswax

2 Teaspoons of emulsifying wax

1 Tablespoon of wheatgerm oil

2 Tablespoons of almond oil

2 Tablespoons of cocoa butter

Directions:

  1. Place the cocoa butter, beeswax, wheatgerm oil, and almond oil in a bowl.

  2. Set the bowl of oil over a saucepan of boiling water.

  3. Stir the beeswax and oils until it has completely melted and is well blended.

  4. Warm the spearmint infusion in a separate saucepan, over low heat. Take care not to let it boil.

  5. Dissolve the emulsifying wax in the infusion.

  6. Take the oil and beeswax blend off the heat.

  1. Slowly add the warm infusion and emulsifying wax blend to the oils, stirring until cool.

  2. Add the peppermint essential oil drop by drop while continuing to stir.

  3. Pour the blend into a glass jar, preferably a dark colored jar, and seal with a tight fitting lid.

  4. Label the jar and refrigerate.

This will make around three and a half ounces of foot cream. You can multiply the recipe to make more, for yourself or to package and give as gifts. However, the balm is best used within two months of being made, so do not make large batches that might go to waste. A little of this foot cream goes a long way.
