When you think of heavy duty cleaning and toxic cleaners you automatically have to consider the oven. Oven cleaners require very precautious use due to the chemicals most use. A good natural household cleaner for your oven comes in two parts. First mix ½ cup of salt, ½ cup of water, and 1 ½ cups of baking soda together until it forms a paste. Cover any holes and the heating element with foil. Spread the past evenly throughout the oven, being careful not to get any on the heating element. Close the oven and leave it overnight. The following morning mix ¼ cup of water and ¼ cup of vinegar in a spray bottle. Spray the oven with the mixture and wipe away. Rinse oven using clean water, making sure you clean it good or you will leave a white residue.
A fantastic natural household cleaner for your microwave is simple and easy to do. Mix together in a bowl 2 cups of water and ¼ cup of vinegar. Set in microwave and heat for three minutes on high. When it's done just leave it for another three minutes. Afterwards remove the bowl and wipe microwave clean with a clean, damp, cloth.
There are many ingredients that can be used to help us in our everyday cleaning safely. Baking soda has amazing cleaning qualities and is a fantastic carpet deodorizer. White vinegar also gets rid of bad odors. Put it on grease, stains, and mildew and just watch it do it's thing. Lemon and vegetable oil is a fantastic furniture polish that will leave your furniture with a great shining glow.
Hopefully these two natural household cleaners will help you around the house. Just because we have heavy cleaning problems does not mean we need to purchase toxic chemicals. By using natural cleaners you will have a home that is not only germ free but chemical free as well.
