Make Your Own Seductively Sweet Coffee Body Scrubs

Holly Matheson
We all love waking up to a steaming cup of coffee in the mornings, but did you know that coffee also works wonders for your skin when used as a body scrub? The coffee itself adds many benefits to the exfoliation of your skin that most body scrubs just do not offer. Coffee grounds help to redistribute the fat cells and decrease the formation of cellulite on your body. Caffeine aids in shrinking blood vessels, weakening the appearance of veins. Let's face it though, department store body scrubs can be pricey. Save your bank account the agony and make your own coffee body scrubs from the comfort of your kitchen.

Note: To use body scrubs, mix all ingredients together and with a washcloth or loofah, apply to damp skin in a circular motion. Rinse and relax.

Mocha Espresso Body Scrub
1/2 cup ground coffee
3/4 cup honey
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp massage oil

Cafe Vanilla Body Scrub
1/2 cup 8 O'Clock Coffee-French Vanilla
3/4 cup Aloe Vera Gel
2 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp honey

Espresso Body Scrub
1/2 cup ground Starbucks French Roast Coffee
3/4 cup cocoa butter
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp honey

Almond Coffee Body Scrub
1/2 cup ground Starbucks Sumatra Coffee
3/4 cup Aloe Vera Gel
2 tsp Almond Extract
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp sugar

To store your body scrubs once prepared, place them in a small mason jar and get creative with decorating them.
