We Just Click!
This is a neat way for your daughter to show her other female classmates that they "just click". What you will need is some:
*craft foam hearts (smallest)
*click hair barrettes (preferrably red or pink)
*hot glue gun
*scissors
*colored card stock - pink, red, white, purple
*marker
Glue about 2 or 3 hearts together. When they dry, glue them to the large part of the barrette. Cut out about a six inch wide heart from the card stock. Write a cute message such as "We Just Click" on the heart and then take the barrette and clip it on the heart.
Valentines Card Holder
Here is another craft that would be fun to do for both girls and boys. They can take these to school for the Valentines Day exchange. You will need:
*2 plastic paper plates
*4 inch ribbon
*hole punch
*lace
*scissors
*hot glue
Take the two plates and put them face to face. (You can use white paper plates, but they won't last as long). Cut one of the plates in half. Punch out a hole about 2 inches apart all around the plates. Make sure that the plates stay aligned. Weave the lace around the plates. Tie in a bow on the top of the plates, leaving enough room to be able to hang up later. Glue the lace acrost the front of the project where the plate was cut. Then you can cut hearts out of the other plate and use this for decorating by glueing them to the plate.
Camo Cards
These are cute for the little guys to do. Not to mention, they are easy as well. Here is a list of what you will need:
*camo pieces of tissue paper (usually found in craft stores or in the craft section of stores).
*vanilla colored construction paper
*glue stick
*markers (green, brown and black)
First off, if you can't find the tissue paper, you can just tear pieces of camo colors (greens, browns, and black). Cut out a heart (about 10 inches in diameter). Glue the pieces of paper all over the front of the heart. Cut out a smaller heart and glue to the front of the larger heart over the tissue paper. Write your message over the top of the small heart. You may also want to make these with your little girl as well. All you need to do is switch the green, brown and black to pinks, reds and purples.
