Make a Quick Clothes Line Out of Duct Tape

Clothes lines are nice to have but you don't always have one available. When you go camping there are no clothes lines already set up for you to use so you might need to make one yourself to hang all those wet swimsuits on. You may not need a clothes line at home since you use your dryer all the time but there are still times when you may want to use one for those rugs and blanket that you hang out to air twice a year. A clothes line is pretty easy to make but you don't always have a rope to make one with so you can substitute Duct tape for rope.

Next time you want to make a quick clothes line grab the Duct tape. Duct tape is great stuff and you can do so many wonderful things with it including a clothes line. Duct tape is strong and it can hold up well under a lot of weight.

First you will need two places that are far apart to tie your Duct tape clothes line to. You could use two trees that are about ten feet apart to make a clothes line from. Then take a long piece of the Duct tape that will go from on place to the other place and start to twist the Duct tape so that the Duct tape will stick onto itself. Make sure you have enough Duct tape to tie the ends of the Duct tape rope onto the places you want to tie the Duct tape too.

When you twist Duct tape it gets very strong and it can handle a lot of stress. You can hang your rugs from the Duct tape rope it is so strong.

Duct tape rope can be made to do other things besides a clothes line. You can pull things with Dust tape rope like a child's wagon. You can use a Duct tape rope to tie things together like a bundle of logs for a fire. Duct tape ropes are very handy and when you are done using them you can toss them away.

Duct tape is great to take with you on a camping trip. It can be used for many things and if you do you don't have to bring some things along. Duct tape can help you cut down on stuff that you have to bring. It can also be use for a quick fix on a tent, chair or split in a wooden handle. Duct tape is also great to use as a quick home made cloth line.
