ITEMS YOU WILL NEED:
First, you will need a ceramic pitcher, a cream or white colored pitcher looks best for this centerpiece to brighten up the look. Next, you will need some spring flowers, like tulips and any others from the garden that you would like to use. You can just use tulips if you would like. You will also need some green leaves, like the leaves on tulips, these would work best. You will also need some baby's breath to incorporate into this spring pitcher centerpiece.
MAKE THE SPRING PITCHER CENTERPIECE:
To start creating this pitcher centerpiece, first add some water to the bottom of the pitcher. Next, cut down all of your flowers and leaves so that they are the same height. You will want them to stick up out of the pitcher about 3 to 4 inches or so.
Next, start arranging your flowers into the pitcher. You can simply add the tulips first, then add some of the green leaves around the outside of the flowers and incorporate your baby's breath throughout the flowers, making sure to make everything look evenly spread. Do not leave a clump of tulips together without adding a little baby's breath in between them.
If you got your flowers from your garden then you will be able to simply get a few more once these start to wilt. The bright colors of the flowers and the white or cream ceramic pitcher are the perfect contrast to really look vibrant and beautiful for your table.
This piece could also be used for a wedding reception centerpiece. To use this idea for a wedding, you would have to have all matching pitchers, you could use a variety of different shaped vases, even using some glass vases if you would like. This idea gives you some options to work with.
