ST. PATRICK'S DAY CUPCAKES: First you will need to get your supplies to make your St. Patrick's Day cupcake centerpiece. You will need to get cupcake mix and green icing with green sparkling sprinkles. Sometimes you can find holiday boxes of cupcake mix that already have the mix and icing for that specific holiday, in this case St. Patrick's Day. You will also need to get St. Patrick's Day cupcake papers or green cupcake papers.
ST. PATRICK'S DAY DISH: Next, you will need to get a cute little St. Patrick's Day platter or a cupcake tree to display your cupcakes on. You could also get a small St. Patrick's Day cascading green centerpiece to add with the cupcakes if you would like. You will also need a couple bags of green or green and white M&M's.
MAKE YOUR CUPCAKE CENTERPIECE: Now that you have all of the supplies you need you can start making your St. Patrick's Day cupcake centerpiece. First, make your cupcakes in your St. Patrick's Day cupcake papers, according to the box directions. Once your cupcakes are cooled start icing them with your green icing and add your green sparkling sprinkles on top of the icing for decoration. If you got a St. Patrick's Day platter to display your cupcakes on, place your cascading centerpiece on the platter first, then start adding cupcakes to the platter around the cascading green centerpiece. If you got a cupcake tree, simply place the green St. Patrick's Day cupcakes on the tiers of the tree and add the cascading green centerpiece to the top of the cupcake tree if possibile.
Once you have your cupcakes in place, add the green or green and white M&M's around the edges and in between the cupcakes for a really cute and festive display. Once you have finished this step, your St. Patrick's Day centerpiece is finished. The great thing about this centerpiece is that it is totally edible, the cupcakes and the M&M's can be eaten and your guests will love that.
