Make a Thank You Card Using My Little Shoebox Papers and Other Scrapbooking Supplies
The "Can't Thank You Enough" Stamp is by My Stampbox
The card is 7" x 5". It's a unisex design featuring colors that would work for sending to either a man or woman. On the inside of the card, you can either write your own greeting or stamp one that gets your intended message across.
Supplies Needed:
Clear Scraps heart shaped mini clear album - remove a single page to use on the front of the card.
"Can't Thank You Enough" stamp by My Stampbox from the " Oval Office - Small Box" set
Green dye ink by Rubber Stampede
Green acid-free marker
Fiskars Victorian Paper Edgers decorative scissors
Round die-cut by My Little Shoebox from the "My Neighborhood" 12X12 Diecut Cardstock
"58th Avenue" 12" x 12" patterned paper from the My Little Shoebox "My Neighborhood" collection
"Prince Lane" 12" x 12" scrapbooking paper by My Little Shoebox from the "My Neighborhood" collection
Turquoise cardstock
Olive Green StazOn inkpad
Paper Trimmer and / or Scissors
Scor-Pal, or else a bone folder plus a ruler
Adhesive - I recommend Zip Dry Paper Glue because it will dry clear and adhere the acrylic embellishment well, but you could also use Glue Dots or another adhesive if you prefer.
How to Make the Base of This Thank You Card:
Using your paper trimmer, cut a piece of Bristol Board measuring 7" x 10". Fold this paper in half, using the Scor-Pal or bone folder to help you make a crisp fold. Later you'll be attaching the front of the card to this.
Next, Make the Front of the Thank You Card:
Cut a piece of turquoise colored cardstock measuring 7" by 5".
Cut a piece of the Prince Lane patterned paper measuring 6" by 4."
The "58th Avenue" scrapbooking paper features some scalloped stripes. Use one of these scalloped designs to cut out a decorated border for the front of the greeting card.
Punch out the round die cut.
Ink the Clear Scraps mini heart-shaped album page with Olive Green StazOn ink. Let it dry completely.
Stamp the "Can't Thank You Enough" sentiment using green ink onto a scrap of Bristol board or white cardstock.. Cut it out with the Fiskars Victorian Decorative scissors. Color the outer edge with a green marker.
Assemble the greeting card elements onto the turquoise cardstock, as shown in the photo. Then adhere the front of the card to the card base.
Your thank-you card is now ready for sending.
