Make Time During the Day to Write Articles

Today's busy schedules sometimes don't allow you to sit down and write an article or two. I understand this, as I have struggled to find time during the day to write. Luckily, there are ways to fit it in to your schedule. Read how.

In the morning, depending on your routine, try to wake up at least 20-30 minutes earlier each morning. These 20-30 minutes should allow you to write one article before you start your day. Now I understand there are a lot of busy parents out there, that are taking care of their kids in the morning, but try to wake up before your kids do so you can some personal time to write. This is one good way to fit in an article writing

Another great way to fit in an article is to write on your break at work. I'm lucky enough to live about 2 minutes from my job, so I can go home and write if I wanted to. Some people are fortunate enough to have internet access at their jobs, allowing them to go on the computer at break time. If you're not allowed to have your laptop with you at work, you could always go outside to write, if it's a nice day. Writing an article is as simple as opening up a Microsoft Word document, and typing in there. Actually, that's the way to go, because you can save the document while you're typing - whereas, in the Associated Content publishing area, you can save and return later, but you don't have that protection of auto recovery like Word has. So if you can fit in an article during your lunch break at work, by all means, do it!

The next time you could be able to write is in the evening, while you're waiting for your dinner to bake in the oven, or after the kids have gone to bed. If you can get at least 20-30 minutes of free time, start writing! It's better to not have any distractions while you're writing, because this allows for easy mistakes that you might not catch later on. I try to write the majority of my articles in the evening, writing about 2-3 per night. This is really not a busy time for me, I don't have kids and after dinner, I really have nothing to do! If you're like me, you could write more articles too.

With all of these tips, you can get at least 3 articles per day. That's a nice amount of money if you are writing quality articles. Add up 3 articles per day, times 30 days per month, and you'll be surprised how much it adds up! It's a really nice savings account, or even just a nice chunk of extra cash. My advice is to submit your articles for upfront payment on Associated Content, especially if you are starting out. I never rely on just my performance payments. Do upfront payments, because you get that upfront payment, plus a performance payment for each article. After a while, and once you start publishing more and getting your work out into the world, it starts to add up. Good luck!
