GLASS BOWL: First you will need to get a large glass bowl. You could also use a large plastic punch bowl, if you are worried about it getting knocked over and broken. Whatever bowl you choose to use, make sure it is clear to see the content inside of it and be sure it is large, about the size of a punch bowl. It could be a little smaller than a punch bowl if you wish.

RED VALENTINE'S DAY HEARTS: Next you will need to find some red plastic Valentine's Day hearts. You can usually find these around Valentine's Day at most retail stores.

CLEAR GLITTER: Get a can of clear spray glitter as well, to add the to sparkle of your cute Valentine's Day centerpiece.

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS: You will also need a strand of clear Christmas lights for this Valentine's Day centerpiece. The lights will be glued in, so make sure to get a new strand and a bottle of clear crafting glue.

PUT CENTERPIECE TOGETHER: Now you can put your Valentine's Day centerpiece together. First, you will need to spray your plastic hearts with glitter.

Next, simply place the female end of the Christmas lights in the center of the bottom of your glass bowl. Glue it into place so that it doesn't flip up or out.

Now start stringing the lights around the bottom edge of the bowl, so that they will be seen from the outside. Put a dab of glue on every once in a while to hold them into place. Before you go further with the lights, add some of your glittered hearts. Then string a few more lights, gluing everything as you go. Keep repeating this process until the bowl is full.

Make sure to leave enough cord from the lights so that it can be plugged in while sitting on your table. Now your Valentine's Day centerpiece is finished and can be plugged in and displayed.
