Makeup Review: Coastal Scents Professional Camouflage Concealer Palette

During today's review, we are going to take a look at a Coastal Scents product; Professional Camouflage Concealer Palette. We will review the colors, texture, coverage, and application life.

Colors:

Coastal Scents chose great colors for this palette. Each color is natural in a appearance and can tackle pale to dark shades. There are 10 colors in all. If you have "in-between" tones, this palette would be perfect for you because you can mix colors with one another until you get the color you are looking for.

There is no shimmer to this concealer and you get a matte finish.

Texture:

Extremely smooth and rich texture when applied to skin. Very easily to blend and apply. If you find the concealer to be a little too thick for your liking, you can mix a little moisturizer with the concealer.

If you use with a light hand, this concealer does not cake. I would personally recommended applying the concealer with a clean ring finger and dabbing onto the skin for best application. Please make sure that you pat on the concealer and not rub it!

The skin around your eyes is very delicate and can become damaged and/or wrinkled if too much pressure is applied on a regular basis.

Coverage:

Professional Camouflage Concealer offers excellent coverage. Whether you have the smallest blemish to an unsightly large blemish, you can use this palette.

There are two ways you can put this palette to use: everyday life and photo life.

If you are planning on a normal day out with friends, work, family, or whatever, where the concealer under your foundation and blend out well.

If you are about to have your picture taken (graduation, wedding, etc.) you can always apply your foundation before concealer. If you apply concealer and foundation in this form, ensure that you do not apply a ton of concealer. This is optimize your coverage.

Application life:

Compared to other concealers I have tried lately and in the past, this concealer out lasted each and every one. I got approx. four hours of full coverage before I needed to touch up. Touch ups did not bother me because it's very easy. Since the concealer is so creamy to the touch, you do not need to carry around brushes for touch ups; use your fingers. The casing is compact as well and can easily be placed in a purse.

In all, I would highly recommended adding this concealer palette to your collection. The price is only $16.95 for ten different concealers. If you are saying that you don't need ten concealer colors, think again. You can always use darker colors for contouring and the colors that are too light for highlights.
