Let's get started!
Wand:
I like to always start off with the wand because it's a very important element when it comes down to mascara. I like the actual wand because the bristles are packed onto the brush and they are soft. I also like the brush because, unlike some other brushes, the wand goes from wide to skinny (wide being closest to the handle). The skinny part of the brush allows you to get smaller lashes without making a huge mess. Also, the wand vibrates which like. It does not vibrate to the point you cannot control the wand, but it gives a nice little shake which helps separate the lashes from one another and provides less clumping.
Texture:
I really like the texture of TurboLash mascara. I was afraid it may be too dry, but it wasn't. It was a perfect middle of moisturized and dry. Mascaras that are too dry will leave you clumping and looking fake, and mascara that is too wet will continually run while you are trying to apply it to your lashes. I always try to find the happy middle, and this mascara gave it to me.
Color:
I'm not highly impressed with the color selection available for TurboLash on esteelauder.com. The only color available was black. While black is a natural color, it is not very good for fair hair and skinned individuals. I was hoping to see a brown or ash coloring, but none. As for black, which they did have, it was a nice vibrant coloring. I was impressed.
Application Life:
Turbo Lash provided me with a total of 8 hours before I noticed wearing. This mascara did not flake or run throughout the wearing life. There is not much you can do with a mascara to prolong the life, so you must make do with what is available. It is a nice life for mascara, but there have been longer.
All-in-all, I like this mascara and I will be buying it again and do recommend it to you. It is expensive, $32.00, but very nice. Even if you don't continue buying it, I would recommend that you try it at least once and see how it turns out for you.
