For all you makeup guru's out there, you know the difficulty of choosing a makeup online. It's never certain if the product will be worth your hard earned money or not. If you're looking to purchase makeup online and have no idea if it will be worth it or not, check here for more info!

I have been a makeup guru all my life and have been testing and reviewing products for the last five years. Each review is broken down into easily understood categories. Today we're taking a look at MAC's Prep + Prime Line Filler.

Purpose:

Some people are unsure of what exactly a primer is used for. The main usage of primer is to give your foundation a base to sit upon. When your skin is prepped for makeup, the makeup will look 10x smoother and natural.

Now not all primers work like this particular product. This primer is designed to help reduce the appearance of fine lines while prepping your facial area for foundation. Continual use of this primer will help keep the appearance of fine lines down in time.

Another plus to using this primer is that it helps your foundation glide on and stay put for hours longer than it normally would.

Packaging: (4 stars out of 5)

Prep + Prime comes in a 15 ml (0.5 fl ounce) tubing. It looks like a very small toothpaste tube. There is not much to say in this section other than the design and size. The main reason I gave this section 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think they should have given a little more product for the size. A little product does the trick, but for the price, personally, they should have provided more.

Color: (5 stars out of 5)
There is only one color available. This primer does dry translucently and works will all different skin tones. It is a clear product. Whether you have light skin or dark skin, it will be okay to use this primer.

Texture: (5 stars out of 5)

Here comes the fun part. I 100% am in love with the texture of this product. It feels amazing. It gives your skin a very smooth and moisturized feel.

The actual texture of this product is kind of like a jelly. All primers are different (some being a gel, spray, cream, etc.). You don't have to worry about it clogging your pores or making your face have a "cakey" appearance.

Overall all quality: (5 star out of 5)

I really did like this product. It did what it was supposed to do and I don't really have any complaints (other than it is pricey). I would recommend it for anyone that uses a foundation. It is a very nice product to have on hand.

It really helped my foundation stay put longer. On most days my foundation would last me approx. 5 hours and with this primer I got approx. 7 hours and my face was very even looking.

This product received an overall rating of 4.8 stars out of 5.
