You can choose from mineral powders or completely organic powders. It really does not matter as long as you find one that offers a good amount of coverage and is correct for your skin tone. It only takes a minute to apply the powder to your face. Also, make sure you have a good makeup brush that won't shed. Apply the powder to your face, you can then use a small brush in order to cover up any blemishes or dark circles.

Next, you have to decide what feature you want to play up. It's usually not good to have heavy blush, eyeshadow, and lipstick. My favorite thing is to focus on my lips. You can also apply a light blush on your cheeks. Lip gloss works really well as a blush. You can also use lip gloss on your eyelids. Just make sure to blend it well and don't go too heavy with it.

Now for the best part, your lips. This can be done easily but it also can go wrong very quickly. The best thing to do is to get one of those lip plumping lip glosses. You can find them anywhere, and the prices range from only a few dollars to over 20 dollars. Pick one you like best. There isn't much difference based on price, so just get the one you like. It will most likely come in a two-sided tube. One side has a white liquid in it, this is the plumper. Make sure your lips do not have any thing on them. Apply the plumper to your lips, you should feel a tingling sensation. This means your lips are plumping. Next apply the gloss, for a more dramatic look you can use a lip pencil over the gloss, Don't line your lips with the lip pencil, just use it on your lips to add more color to your gloss.

One last step, blot your face lightly with a tissue. This will "set" your makeup and ensure that it looks natural.
