One program you see advertised quite often involves typing letters at home. While there may be some legitimacy to this, most often is mostly a scam. You pay a fee and you get some sort of assignments. The only person that makes any money is the person selling the program. Don't bother. You will type your fingers to the bone for pennies. It's a scam that you don't need to get involved with. This old type for money at home business opportunity is a waste of time. It has been around for years don't fall for it.
Another program that you see advertised quite a bit all over the Internet is Paid Surveys. First of all, you have to pay a very high fee to join one of these plans. The idea is that you will be paid to fill in consumer surveys at home. What they don't tell you is that they are looking for certain age groups or categories of consumers to take these surveys. Usually you are not qualified to take the survey. Even if you do take the survey, they will ask you immediately to take another survey. This goes on and on and you make pennies or nothing at all. Remember, if it seems too easy, it isn't. There is no free lunch out there on the Internet. So forget taking paid surveys. Save your money.
Multilevel Marketing or MLM for short, is another less than profitable area to become involved with for the average person. Most of these companies are basically pyramid schemes that trap the unwary and take their money. The legitimate MLM companies are scarce. Typically, you will be required to buy a sales kit that can run into hundreds of dollars. Then, the promoters try and sell you more by making you a Distributor. So you try and sell these products to your list of friends and maybe make a few sales. Maybe you even recruit a few of your friends to buy and sell these products. Eventually, you have to sell to strangers. It isn't easy to do. Many an aspiring multi level marketer becomes "Garage Qualified". Meaning that you wind up with a garage full of products that nobody will buy. There are some legitimate MLM opportunities out there. Are you qualified to tell which is which? The best thing is to say no and save your money.
Do you love to shop? Well, there are programs out there on the Internet advertising jobs for Mystery Shoppers. This may be semi-legitimate for some people to do. What this entails is that you drive, yes drive, to a business and pretend to actually be a customer. Then you submit a report that asks questions about your experience with that business. While this may work there is driving a long distance involved. You have gas and vehicle expenses. Even if it is legitimate, you generally don't make enough money to make it worthwhile.
We have covered just a few so-called Internet business opportunities here. There are other crazy schemes out there involving clicking on ads on websites that you visit. Another claims that you can get paid to watch TV. You have to use your head on some of these work at home plans. Again, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
