Making Money Online with BlogToProfit: A Review

BlogToProfit is a paid blogging program in the same vein as sites like Pay Per Post, Linkworth, Blogsvertise, and so on. If you're not too familiar with the way these types of programs work, BlogToProfit will pay somewhere around $5-$10 per post as long as your post links to a specified website and contains specified keywords; BlogToProfit's aim is to find blogs like your's to sponsor in exchange for some adding some anchor text (not to be confused with advertisements) that must blend in with your posts. You will receive around ten assignments per week which have a seven day deadline.

While many of these paid blogging programs are legit and do pay, the question is whether BlogToProfit is one of them? Well, that is apparently so. Payments are sent out on a weekly basis via PayPal and their support team is right on the mark. BlogToProfit has been around since February 2006 and originates out of Scranton, Pennsylvania.

The biggest problem holding BlogToProfit back is a rather common one (at times): The topics of the assignments. Many of the topics found on BlogToProfit may seem beyond the common interests of most bloggers out there, that is unless you specialize in stuff like real estate, plastic surgery, and so forth.

With that aside though, BlogToProfit also comes across as having some really strict guidelines to follow - Blogs must be active for 12 months minimum, bloggers who delete posts upon receiving payment or prior to the term date will be disqualified from all sponsorship opportunities; only applications with root domains are accepted, the only exception are sub-domains (i.e. http://website.domain.com); blogs must be as old as two months minimum and contain original, quality content, and must be updated at least two times per week.

Lastly, you're going to be waiting anywhere from two weeks to a month's timeframe for them to approve your blog application, there is also a waiting period for them to approve your blog posts as well. The upside to all of this is that BlogToProfit is only asking for a minimum of 150 words per post as opposed to similar sites which require 300-400 words minimum, the pay per post is rather competitive.

BlogToProfit also has a pretty decent referral program in which they will pay you $10 per each person whom you refer that completes the first set of assignments (i.e. blog application approved, first post, first evaluation passed, etc.). This shouldn't be too hard to do, getting a group of bloggers to join a completely free paid blogging program.
