Making Money Online: Finding Time to Write Articles

I sometimes complain that I never have enough time to write articles. Writing articles and Hubs is how I earn my income, so I had BETTER find the time, or I don't make any money. The reality is writing is hard for me, so I subconsciously put it off. I have plenty of time in the day to do it, but make mental excuses to find other, more important things to do at the moment.

When I finally just tell my self, "Write something!!", and sit down and start writing, the words will flow easily enough. So my real problem isn't finding the time, it's finding motivation.

I do have some trouble finding the right time to write however. I have small children and pets to take care of, like many other people. So the best thing to do is to determine the optimal times to write, say after the kids are in bed, or early in the morning before the household starts becoming active. These are also my optimal thinking times, when I have the most brain power to work with, which is a bonus as well.

So I make sure there will be no other distractions, and get to writing at these times. Most of the times this process seems to work. I use other bits and pieces of time throughout the say to do research, work on outlines and titles, so when it comes time for the actual writing, I have no excuses, a and I'm ready to just write.

Everyone's situation will be different. Not everyone gets to stay at home all day and not work a regular job, or go to school. Most people simply just have more to do. The only thing I can say to you about this is to just make it a priority. Force in a block of time for writing, rearrange you're schedule if you can. If you want something badly enough, you WILL make the time, and find a way to do it.
