Making Your Own Gamebit

The Special Screwdriver

Anonymous
Required Items List:

Matches

Plastic pen

Candle with unused wick

Game system (Just the box)

Cautionary equipment:

Gloves to protect your hands from burns from melting plastic or wax.

Fire extinguisher or glass of water to extinguish an unwanted fire.

Steps for assembly:

Unscrew your pen so that you have several smaller pieces. Most importantly, you need the plastic rod. Set that aside and light the candle with a match. Put the pen rod tip in the flame. Allow the plastic to soften or melt slightly. Once the pen appears to be melting and flexible, place the pen rod onto a screw on your game system. Now, push firmly. Let the pen cool and allow the plastic shape itself onto the screw. Allowing the plastic to harden gives you a screwdriver with a perfect fit for your screws!

For Problems:

Sometimes the process doesn't work the first time, so just try again.

If your gamebit didn't form the correct shape, then you need to heat the pen longer and or press more firmly onto the screw.

Replace broken pen rods since they are cheap.

Additionally:

You may desire to create a handle for your gamebit to extend its length. Metal or plastic will work best.

Fill the empty rod pen body with silicone, hot glue, or styrofoam to make your gamebit less vulnerable to breaking.
