Summer time is here! So what are you planning to drink during the hot and muggy days? How about a good glass of Southern Sweet Tea? Sounds good doesn't it. I bet the thought of a tall glass of Ice tea would be great right now and you are thinking about going to the store. Don't! These article will give you a basic Recipe to make your own Southern Sweet Iced Tea, so that you may continue making it over and over again through out the summer days.

Making Southern Sweet iced Tea is as simple as one, two, and three. If you follow the instruction to the tee, you will be on your way to cooling your throat. The ingredients are as follows:

· 3 family size Tea Bags (Luzianne Tea Bags preferred, if available)

· 2 cups of cold water

· 1 cup of sugar.

Once you have the ingredients in your possession bring out a pot. Place the two cups of water in the pot, along with the tea bags. Bring the water to a boil; do not continue on boiling when water starts to boil. Then you are going to want to remove from heat and let it cool down. While you waiting for the water to cool down take out an empty pitcher. When the boiled water is has cooled down a bit poor the warm tea (not the bags) into the empty pitcher. At this point go ahead and add the sugar. Fill the remaining pitcher with cold water and stir until the sugar is dissolved.

There you have it your very own Southern Sweet Iced tea. Now, go and enjoy a cold glass.

Sounds good. We tried Mickey's Sweet Tea at McD's . . . and it was AWFUL! Better to make our own. Personally, I love it with a bit of lemon. ;-)
