Cherry and Cottage Cheese Stuffed Nasturtiums
1 cup of cottage cheese
½ cup pitted cherries
1 teaspoon rosemary
nasturtium flowers
Wash well the nasturtiums and lay them on paper towels to dry. Mix the cottage cheese, pitted cherries, and rosemary well in a mixing bowl. Form 1" balls of the mixture and gently place them inside the nasturtiums.
Parsley Melon Stuffed Nasturtiums
one ripe melon (cantaloupe or honeydew)
parsley
nasturtium flowers
Wash the nasturtiums and let them dry. Cut the melon in half and use a melon ball scoop to form 1" balls. Wash the parsley and wrap a sprig around the melon ball. Place the melon and parsley balls inside the nasturtiums.
Cucumber and Cottage Cheese Stuffed Nasturtiums
1 large cucumber
1 cup of cottage cheese
ground black pepper
nasturtium flowers
Wash the nasturtiums and set them on paper towels to dry. Mash the cucumber in a blender. Pour the mashed cucumber into a bowl and add the cottage cheese. Blend well; add a pinch of ground black pepper. Form into 1" balls with your hands and place them inside the nasturtiums.
Tofu and Citrus Stuffed Nasturtiums
1 teaspoon of lemon zest
1 teaspoon of orange zest
1 cup of tofu
1 teaspoon of cardamon
nasturtium flowers
Wash the nasturtium flowers as usual and let them dry. Place in a bowl the tofu, crumbling it with a fork, adding the teaspoons of lemon and orange zest. Blend well. Add the cardamon into the mixture; mix well. Form 1" balls of the tofu mix with your hands and place them inside the nasturtiums.
