Have you ever wondered if the toys your child and pets are playing with are really safe, even if they have a sticker or other marking saying they have been tested? Unfortunately, one country's testing procedures and safety requirements may not be as stringent as another country's, and the toys might have been marked as safe because they met their country of origin's requirements.
Ferndale residents can be sure of their child's and pet's toys safety by attending one of the Toxic Toy and Product Testing Seminars that are regularly held at the Kulick Community Center. Residents can bring items for testing to these seminars. If there is no one waiting, it may be possible to have each item you bring tested. If others are waiting, only three items can be tested.
