The wedding day is "the" day. It is something that every woman who is about to be married envision as a perfect day, with her being the most beautiful woman on the occasion. But planning your wedding and actually preparing for to be realized as perfectly as you want it to be can be very stressful and definitely involves a lot of hard work, not to mention a lot of money.

By making your own wedding planning checklist, you help to organize you, your groom to be, and everyone else who is involved in making the wedding a reality and get everyone doing their job correctly, thus decreasing the possible errors that usually occur.

In making your wedding planning checklist, you have to make sure that your ideas can be met with your resources. You also need not be pressured that the grandest and most beautiful wedding involves much more money than what you can manage. This might be true, but this does not mean that because you do not have the resources you won't be able to realize your dream wedding. It is this time that you need to bring out your creative in you so that you can have a beautiful wedding without the high expense.

  1. The wedding date. You need to set the wedding date. Many think that there are "lucky" dates and they base their wedding day on a date they think that will bring luck to their marriage. Others also choose dates on the day they first became officially a dating couple. Whatever the reason, setting the date is crucial. They need to have time for everything else.
  2. The type of wedding and the reception. Knowing the type of wedding you want to have will determine the place to hold the ceremony and the reception that follows.
  3. The number of guests. If you want a big wedding or a small, intimate one, this is also important in setting your budget as well as in choosing the place where you can fit your guests.
  4. The invitation. Invitations also count in making every effort to having a memorable wedding. The invitations have to be sent way ahead of time so that guests will be able to have that day vacant and attend the occasion.

These are the more important things to include in a wedding planning checklist. Other things can be added to, and this will depend on how thorough you want your checklist to be.
