Kelly is an athletic receiver built like wide receivers taken in the early first round in past years, like Calvin Johnson. He may be the only most well rounded receiver in this draft as he combines great hands, strength, and decent speed. Like most receivers do, he will struggle in the adjustment period from college to the pros, but this guy is not likely to bust. He's a proven receiver in both stats, Oklahoma's all time leader in receiver yards despite only playing 3 years, and athletism and that normally translate to the pro game, although likely not right away. He should benefit from the fact that receiver class is weak at the top and possibly be taken in the top ten, despite the fact that a guy like him normally goes in the late teens to early twenties in most drafts. He needs to improve on speed. He is has decent speed, but if he becomes faster in the future, this guy could be one of the toughest covers in the league with Terrell Owens size and hands to go with kick return esque speed. Right now, he's not quite there, nor does it look like he will be at this pace. Nonetheless, he should still be a strong number one option for many years once he is adjusted.
11. Buffalo Bills 7-9
Many think that this team's line is the reason for their offensive struggles, but I think it is due to the fact that they don't have anyone to catch the ball. Other than Lee Evans, who by no stretch of the imagination is a #1 option type wide out, they don't have a single wide receiver that should be on a NFL roster. They need to take a chance on a wide out like Oklahoma WR Malcolm Kelly. Kelly has a huge upside. He may be a risk at this point in the draft, but if they ever want to be a good team, they need to take risks and not just risks, but smart risks. Here's a golden opportunity for them to do so and get a guy who could take their team to the next level in the wide receiver with a great athletism and a huge upside, Malcolm Kelly.
