Male Enhancement and Performance: Do Size and Stamina Matter?

Marty K.
Male enhancement and performance products have come into the culture, and although they can have limited value, is their overall use valid? It appears there is a performance mentality that has exists in the bedroom, similar to that which exists on sports fields.

We now have men who are seeking to: 1) Drive their bodies beyond a normal performance level and 2) "enhance" the size of their sexual apparatus, both by the means of substances. Let's take a look at both of these ambitions, which could be regrettable:

Using Stimulants to Heighten Activity

Although there is such a thing as "erectile dysfunction," men are usually trying to drive their bodies beyond what is normal, or a natural amount of sex. The body most often tends to perform in accordance with what is needed, at the appropriate time. If, for example, the body needs food, feelings of hunger will occur and it would be unnatural and likely harmful to use appetite stimulants to drive the body into excess.

People often use food, though, to over-indulge and to escape. People might use remedies to suppress the appetite to prevent overeating; but with sex, men often use substances to drive so-called "performance."

Women's attitudes toward all of this tend to vary, but I maintain the vast majority of women do not really have a very strong physical drive, at least not on the level of men. I explore this in detail in my article, "Do Women Have as Strong of Sex Drives as Men?" I also have indicated women experience sex more on an emotional level, and of course, a lot of what I say is not popular or appreciated by feminists.

"Enhancing" the Male Apparatus: Is Bigger Really Better?

Sorry, but we are now entering the realm of the dumbest of the dumb. It's frightening how many people give credence to this insanity and are suckered in by it. It's like watching grown adults who believe in astrology or Santa Claus.

When I see those infomercials for these snake oil pills on late night TV, I'm tempted to throw something at the screen, but I really just quickly switch the channel. Truly, I've come to realize my remote control is one of my best and most loyal friends.

We must address the question: "Why would size matter?"

There can only be two possibilities, and we'll explore them as follows:

1. Women care, and a larger organ means more stimulation. We could argue about whether or not this is true. I submit it is not true for most women, or at least the sensible ones. Levelheaded and reasonable women tend to care more about the size of a man's heart and his amount of character, rather than penis size. I respectfully submit that a woman who cares about penis size is at least a borderline airhead, under my rights to freedom of thought, opinion and speech.

2. It matters for a man's greater enjoyment, which again is driving of the body and the senses beyond what is normal and natural. It is neither good from a spiritual nor a physical standpoint.

The people with smirks on their faces promoting these products are nauseating. Those who are mesmerized by it should seek mental health counseling, in my opinion. It's very disturbing how many men actually make purchases and endanger themselves.
