Mall of America - Great Fun for the Whole Family

When traveling to the Twin Cities, you must stop at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. The mall was built over ten years ago and is in excellent condition. The Mall of America has an amusement park, hundreds of stores, and lots of restaurants to please anyone. It is definitely a trip the whole family to enjoy because there are so many things to do that you cannot do it all in one day.

It is the largest mall in the United States. It takes several hours to see the whole thing. Maybe they should build a hotel in it? You can find almost anything you can imagine in it. I love shopping at the Mall of America because I can find so many unique things where you cannot find in your traditional shopping malls. How many malls do you know that have two stores dedicated to jigsaw puzzles? Yes, it is sad that I know this but I am addicted to jigsaw puzzles.

There is even a college located in the mall that you can enroll and take classes right at the mall. This is really convenient for some of the employees at the mall because they can go to work and school at the same place.

For the kids, they can visit the Park at MOA. This is an amusement park located in the center of the mall. It has a giant skylight dome over it which lets in natural light during the day, and at night time all of the rides light up. There are several things to do at the Park at MOA. Besides the rides, there is a huge arcade and a carnival area to play more games. You can get face paintings, and even mini doughnuts. You can purchase a wristband so your kids can ride any ride they want all day for one price. I recommend doing this because you get the best value. There are a few fast food options in the park for eating.

You also can visit Underwater World. Underwater World is a giant aquarium which you can walk through for a fee. You receive a headset when you enter and you walk through the aquarium through a tube and it narrates everything you will see. This is super cool but it can get expensive for a large family. I think it is worth it though.

If your feet get tired from all the shopping and amusements, feel free to go up to the fourth floor and catch a new release at the movie theaters. The prices are pretty cheap and the theater is really nice. It can get pretty chilly so I would bring a sweater. I would recommend that your next trip to the Twin Cities includes the Mall of America. It is truly the experience you will remember.
