Mama Has No 'Nake

Children are always picking up new ideas and they say some of the most innocent things. We live on a farm in the middle of nowhere. My son hates to wear his clothes and is terrified of mice. To him wearing clothes is the worst thing in this world next to mice. At the age of two my son was starting to notice his body parts. One day he looked down and realized there was something there. In a very loud, clear voice he pointed and said, "snake". This has stuck with him and now he is three.

I had to change clothes to go into town. He was sitting on his fathers lap when I started to change my pants. With the most innocent look and voice he took a quick breath and said, "Mama has no 'nake?" I looked at him in shock and said back with a smile, "Mama has no 'nake". He then looked at me with the most inquisitive eyes and said, "Mouse ate it?". He was horrified! He jumped off his fathers lap, ran to his bedroom and brought back his underwear and a shirt. That was the fastest we have ever seen him put his clothes on!
