Benny Andersson & Bjorn Ulvaeus' MAMMA MIA! The smash musical hit by ABBA's songwriters Benny Andersson & Bjorn Ulvaeus is making its triumphant return to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts for one week only! July 19-24, 2011
Based on the hit songs of 1970's mega super group ABBA, Mamma Mia! Is a timeless story of family and friendship that unfolds on a Greek Island. On the day before her wedding it is a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father. Three men from her mother's past return to the island they last visited 20 years prior.



The 2008 movie version starred a stellar cast headed by the incredible Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Pierce Brosnan, and Colin Firth. The worldwide gross of the film is the most successful movie musical film adaptation of all time, bringing in $600 million worldwide. Favorite ABBA songs include, "Dancing Queen," "Money, Money, Money," "The Winner Takes It All," and "Take A Chance On Me." Heading this cast are some of the best of the best of the Great White Way: Kaye Tuckerman, Chloe Tucker, John Bisom, and Ethan LePhong are among the performers. The current North American Tour has played over 3,600 performances in over 135 cities with 145 repeat visits. The original West End production is now in its twelfth year and has garned over 5,000 performances in London. The International tour has visited more than 50 countries and has been seen by 3.7 million people. It is clearly one of the most popular shows in the past decade. Mamma Mia! Will begin on Tuesday, July 19 through Sunday July 24th, 2011. Performances are Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8:00 P.M. and Sunday evenings at 7:30 P.M. Matinee performances are Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 P.M.
