Man charged in Stepha Henry's disappearance: Stepha Henry was a 22 year-old recent graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice who was reported missing during Memorial Day weekend. She was last seen in South Florida, driving to a nightclub.

Henry was in Florida visiting relatives and taking part in the Hip-Hop Weekend that was taking place in Miami during Memorial Day Weekend.

On Tuesday, police arrested a man in Brooklyn. This man, 32 year-old Kendrick Lincoln Williams, was the last person seen with Stepha as he drove her to the Sunrise Nightclub on May 29, 2007.

The Miami-Dade police department put out a news release on Tuesday morning that said that Williams is being accused of the murder of Stepha Henry and he is now being charged with second-degree murder.

According to Jim Loftus, Assistant Director of Investigative Services at the Miami Dade Police Department, who held a news conference on Tuesday afternoon, Henry went to a bar-b-que in Miramar at a friend's house on May 28th. It was here that she met Williams. Loftus went on to say that the two made plans to meet up the next night. Stepha and Williams were seen together in Peppers Café Nightclub, but Stepha suddenly dropped out of sight later on that night.

Police impounded Williams's Acura Integra, which the two used to get to the club, and a forensic analysis of the car revealed Henry's blood and other evidence.

Stepha Henry's body has still not been found but she is presumed dead.

John Jay College of Criminal Justice President Jeremy Travis said he and the school were ""deeply saddened by today's news... As a student, an alumna and a staff member, Stepha embodied the values we hope to impart to all of our students -- a thirst for knowledge, a commitment to excellence and a desire to ensure fairness in the pursuit of justice. She was full of hope and promise. We mourn the fact that she was unable to fulfill her dreams."

This case is only one of many missing women reported in 2007. The case of the missing pregnant Marine, Maria Lauterbach, whose body was recently found and Stacy Peterson, who is still missing, are several of the other high profile missing women cases that have

These cases show some similarities to the Henry case. Just like the Henry case neither of these cases have been solved, although there are suspects in the Lauterbach and Henry cases. In the Peterson case, no body has been found, just like in the Henry case.

Information from a CBS4 report, a South Florida Sun-Sentinal report, a news release from the Miami-Dade police department, and the press release of Jeremy Travis has been used in this report.
