Man claims Fantasy 5 winning ticket

A Fantasy 5 winner from Hastings claimed his prize on July 6 at Lottery Central in Lansing. Phillip Kidder bought his ticket at Cloverdale General, which is located at 7657 M-43 Highway in Cloverdale. Kidder's winnings total $62,169 and will be used to fund a house he was already building for his family.

As Detroit-area lotto players know, Fantasy 5 offers daily jackpots of $100,000. The jackpot grows by $5,000 every day if a player does not win. It is estimated that the average jackpot is $155,000. Also, players have a chance to win from $1 to $100 by matching numbers.
