Marianne knew in her heart the cards were not written by her daughter. But how do you prove such a thing?

We had Peggy Walla look at the postcards -- quitely of course -- a bit about her craft of document analysis --

Missing woman's husband discloses location of her body, sheriff says

MORGAN COUNTY -- A five-year-old missing person case in Morgan County has been solved and the sheriff's department is seeking charges.

Investigators said Thursday that information discovered through numerous leads has revealed Michelle "Angie" Yarnell died as a result of a domestic dispute and authorities are searching for her remains.

Sheriff Jim Petty said Angie's husband, Michael Shane Yarnell, has disclosed the location of the body and the investigation is ongoing.

Petty said additional charges are pending against Yarnell. Investigators are unable to say what charges will be sought at this time.

Yarnell has been in jail in Morgan County since early November when he was arrested in Mississippi nearly three years after fleeing from Morgan County. Yarnell was charged at that time with forgery and tampering with physical evidence and is being held on a $25,000 cash only bond.

Yarnell told investigators in October that he wrote a post card and mailed it to his wife's mother, Marianne Asher-Chapman, days after she was reported missing in an effort to make her family believe she was alive and well.

Petty said he assigned a task force to the case on Monday and investigators have interviewed dozens of people and followed several leads.
