Man Dressed like Darth Vader Robs NY Bank, Shoves Customer to Floor

The Empire Strikes Back in a Long Island Bank

It would seem as if the Empire struck back at a New York bank on Thursday, as a man dressed like Darth Vader used the dark side of The Force to rob a Chase branch bank in Long Island. The apparent Star Wars enthusiast then displayed a gun instead of a light saber and demanded money. The Darth Bandit, who was caught by surveillance cameras, managed to escape with an undetermined amount of money.

One must wonder what it must have been like for the bank customers at the time. One customer, deeming the situation as comical, tried to jokingly use The Force against the Darth Bandit. However, Darth Vader was not having it. A non-Jedi knight was obviously beneath the Sith Lord as he shoved the customer and then used his gun to get the man on the ground.

This is the second bizarre bank robbery in the New York area. Just recently NYPD cops arrested a man dubbed as the "Bouquet Bandit", claiming that the man would take potted plants and flowers into banks he would rob.

He's gonna give James Earl Jones a bad name if he keeps doing this.

LOL Although I do not condone bank robbing, I must commend this fellow on his uniqueness and creativity. Excellent story.
