Man and God

Man and God are different in most ways and comparing two is like comparing Sun with a small Star. But the biggest and most significant difference is in their 'perspective'. Man always thinks 'short term' while God always has long term benefit of his pupils at heart.

Man always judges God by what happens at that moment. A man misses his flight for an important work and curses God for not helping him. Later the man comes to know that the flight he had missed has 'crashed' and there are no survivors. Now he 'profusely' thanks God for his special mercy on him. Now he realizes that God always had his 'long term' benefit at heart.

Some people will argue that why the God didn't show the same benevolence to other people who died in that plane crash. Again those men are having 'short term perspective' as they don't realize that time of died people was 'up'. They were 'through' with their share of sorrows and God had called them back. This world was never meant for 'pleasures' as some very 'short-sighted' people seem to think.

Man may 'at best' see things from the perspective of his life span which may be maximum 100 years but God has to keep record of all your journeys through various cycles of 'life and death' which you have gone for millions of years. That's why wise holy men tell you to surrender yourself to almighty and accept everything that happens, 'good or bad', with a smile because he will always realize later that even 'bad was good' for him.

That's why I say 'poor should not envy rich' while 'rich should live under no illusion or pride'. I know so many poor who live a life of contentment while there are so many rich who are complaining about money.
There are so many rich monied whose own brothers or children have left them alone long back. It may be God's justice that somebody may be born 'rich' in this birth as 'punishment' while somebody may have been born 'poor' as a 'reward' to save him from 'ills' of being rich.
