Man Law: Do NOT Let Eddie Griffin Drive Your Car!

The Star of 2002's Undercover Brother Wrecks $1.5 Million Ferrari

Eddie Griffin, among other things one of the stars of the Miller Lite "Man Law" commercials, wrecked the $1.5 million dollar Ferrari Enzo of producer Daniel Sadek while practicing for a charity racing event on March 27. Sadek is the producer of the film Redline.

Eddie Griffin apparently walked away unhurt, but the rare Ferrari Enzo was totaled, prompting Sadek to say he had "mixed feelings". I thought mixed feelings were what a guy has when his Mother-in-law drives off a cliff in his new Ferrari, at least it was according to Michael Douglas' character in Wall Street, Gordon Gecko. Not the feeling one gets when an actor drives into a concrete wall, with the owner watching, no less.

Charity begins in the 'hood?

Eddie Griffin of the Deuce Bigelow movies, Undercover Brother, and the Miller Lite commercials has a flick with Steven Segal coming out entitled Once Upon a Time In The 'Hood. Maybe the Kansas City, Mo. native can have Segal defend him from Daniel Sadek who had to be seeing red while watching his ride totalled in a charity event.

Eddie Griffin's quote was "Undercover Brother's good at karate and the rest of that, but the Brother can't drive". Now, he tells me, Sadek must be thinking. Sadek was quoted as saying he was glad Eddie Griffin was unhurt and all that, but I'm sure unless the whole thing was a stunt, which I doubt, that Sadek would like to see Griffin go on a quail hunt with Dick Cheney. Wait, that was Ice T who was hunted by the rich hunting club, not Eddie Griffin, but stay tuned.

In the meantime, Sadek would at least like to propose a new "man law". Instead of "no baking on Sunday" or "no fruiting the beer" when it was suggested that lime be inserted into the bottle and called a beer colada, or laws concerning Jimmy Johnson's hair, Daniel Sadek might propose something along the lines of "man law": "no putting Eddie Griffin behind the wheel of a Ferrari". Unless, of course, Sadek's mother-in-law is a passenger.
