Cops Identify Him as the One

Not too long ago two elderly women were mugged and assaulted by a cowardly black man. The original article can be found here (101-year-old Woman Mugged and Assaulted). The incident originally happened in Queens, New York. Media coverage was all over the case of the 101-year-old woman being mugged and assaulted, and the horrific footage was caught on a security camera. The footage caught on the security camera would make anyone cringe in horror, as they saw Rose Morat getting knocked around by the black man. However, now the black man has been identified by police.

The black man caught on the video camera has been identified as 44-year-old Jack Rhodes. Rhodes is being charged with robbery as a hate crime, burglary as a hate crime, second-degree assault, and grand larceny. Also, Rhodes was also charged with with additional burglary, assault, robbery, and grand larceny due to another attack that Rhodes committed against a 51-year-old woman late December in Jamaica.

If Rhodes is the right man, which the investigation has clearly pointed to him as the assaulter, it is a great breakthrough for the safety of all senior citizens in the Queens area. Rhodes has committed many assaults on older women. When Rhodes finished attacking the older woman, he then takes their handbag for all of the money and valuables inside.

Jack Rhodes also has a past criminal record, according to Newsday. Rhodes got out of prison in 2003, the reason being that he was in prison was for three counts of assault, grand larceny, possession of stolen property, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and for unlawful tresspassing (Newsday).

According to Newsday, there has also been a heavy investigation since the day Rose Morat was assaulted and mugged by Jack Rhodes, which was widely covered by an array of media outlets.

In the case of Rose Morat, the 101-year-old whom was assaulted and mugged by Rhodes. Rhodes, in that attack, made off with a whopping $33 for his negatory efforts and unlawful infringement on the rights of Rose Morat.

In the video footage caught when Rhodes allegedly assaulted Rose Morat, Rhodes held the door for Rose Morat, looking like a good citizen. Once the door closed Rhodes started his attack on Rose Morat by jabbing her and pushing the elderly woman around. Nearing the end of the horrific video footage, Rose Morat was knocked to th ground by Rhodes. Rhodes then stole whatever he wanted from her, then left the apartment complex with Rose Morat, at 101-years-old, laying helpess on the ground.

Hopefully Rhodes gets what he deserves-- a long sentence that leaves him as helpless as Rose Morat, as well as the other women whom Rhodes has assaulted.

Thank god that he got caught. A person that is capable of doing that to an elderly woman needs to be in jail.

When I saw this story on FNC, I felt sick. I cannot understand how anyone could do such a thing to anyone, much less an elderly lady. I am very glad this idiot has been caught.
