Man Who Raped 6-Year-Old Boy in Massachusetts Should Be Made an Example

What is wrong with some people? I understand that some people who were molested as children act out their molestation on other people. They want to understand the terrible act that was committed against them and by trying to understand they then commit the same act against others (or at least some of my psycho babble friends say).

However, there is a point were all people are held accountable for their actions. This does not matter what happened in their past. We all know right from wrong. Only people with serious mental disabilities may not be capable of understanding right from wrong.

But when a 26-year-old man, Corey Saunders of New Bedford, Mass., who is a repeat, level 3 sex offender, rapes a 6-year-old boy in a library bathroom, it is time to end the cycle of violence by putting this man away for life, or ending his life. A 26-year-old man who has been in prison before hopefully received treatment for the crime he committed. The crime he committed in the first place was a level 3 sexual offense. Therefore he should have receive sexual therapy.

However, he was released from prison only to commit this crime again. I am sure he was assigned some type of sexual offender treatment to attend while he was released. He failed. Because of his failure he raped a 6-year-old boy in the bathroom of a library while his mother was getting some material on a computer.

At what point do we as a society say enough is enough! End this violence now by ending Saunder's life. He has proven that he can not adjust to therapy. He is a violent sex offender that will do nothing but drain the tax payer's dollars because he refuses to control his sexual desires. What if this was your child?

If anyone looks at a child and has a sexual desire, you should put the gun to your head and end your life before you can ruin that child's life. Your God will reward you by not hurting a child in order to satisfy your sexual desires. Everyone has the right to life, but only if it does not injure the innocent. If you were a victim of abuse and you are dealing with it without hurting anyone else, I applaud you. Your strength is for all to admire.

But our sympathy should not go to sex offenders like Saunders. Saunders should be made an example of. We will not tolerate this behavior anymore! Our children will be safe to go to the bathrooms in a public facility! No more will we fear for our children from these sexual predators. I am done having any sympathy for those that cause harm to others.
