Man to Sleep in Ikea

Unknown
A man who I will not mention his name because I believe this story is a ridiculous is going to be spending a week or so living in Ikea. The reason being is that work is being done on his apartment and since his apartment is mostly made up of items from the store he decided to write a letter to the owner of the Ikea in Paramus, New Jersey and ask permission to sleep, eat, and live there for the time period.
This man is a unknown comic, film maker, and a part-time audience coordinator for a popular comedy central t.v. show. I believe this is a desperate attempt for an irrelevant comic to make himself known. I also believe that this is an attempt for Ikea and other franchises to bank on the popularity of this stunt. Its not really hard to do. He is welcome to all the food from the food court, he can use the bathrooms and sleep anywhere he wants. He will be documenting this to make some sort of short film. It can't be that interesting to live in Ikea for a week or so. He drops a whole bunch of brand names in the short film, probably hoping to gain sponsorship or future benefits.
The other question I had was how come this person would get this chance? He said he is doing this because getting a hotel for the time is going to be too expensive. What about people who live on the street everyday? Shouldn't they get the chance to enjoy a shelter for a day? eat what they want for a day? Or even go to the bathroom in a regular toilet? If this person wants people to watch his film and get some attention, he should do what millions do every night. Sleep in the street. Survive in the street. If you can't do that and bring some light to a problem in our communities, then I don't wanna see it.

I think it's hilarious. Breaking through in a world cluttered by media is tough and if IKEA is welcoming him with open arms then what's the harm? Rather than tearing tickets for the Colbert Report on comedy central this could at least move him inside the theatre! Here's the blog documenting the stay at IKEA: http://www.marklivesinikea.com/
