Man I Used to Be

Jayne
Once upon a time
Sippin' on cola
Rhymin' and grindin'
Talkin' on my Motorola

Typing so fast
Using the tilde and dash
Future, Present, Past
Walk by with sass and class

Take another sip
on the cola tip
Pixels and blips
Flop a boat against trips

Taking vacations
Holidays and freetime
Back into the man I used to be
Jayne Elementary

Back and its wack that its a fact used to smoke whack

Woke up one day
Quit it and that's that

Not who I used to be
And going to be who I am not
Deep covers asleep fallen
Nightmares dream callin'

Freewriting and freestyling
DJing and B-Boyin
3 elements 4th graffiti

WORD say what again
Spit talk for hooligans
Doobie passing eating burgers
Jayne so hot like iron curlers

Great poem. The man you are now can turn out to be the transitioning point for the better one you are becoming.
