Manage Your Curls with Redken All Soft Shampoo and Conditioner

Venus Rachal

I have thick, curly, sometimes frizzy hair that needs control. When I use Redken All Soft Shampoo and Conditioner, my hair is smooth, silky and moisturized. I love it. My hair behaves with Redken in a way that it does not with most other hair products.

A few years ago, I walked into a beauty supply store near my college. I was just curious and I don't even think I was coming into buy anything. I just went in with some friends who are much more beauty conscious than I am. I am a slap-some-water-on-it-and-go kind of girl. If it takes me more than 10 minutes after I shower to get ready (15 at the most), then it has taken too long! So, you can comprehend that I do not normally visit the beauty supply store even though my mother is a hair stylist.

I met a woman in the store who spoke to me about my curly hair and she showed me some products including Redken All Soft shampoo and conditioner. My life was changed that day! She explained to me that curly hair has certain needs that straight hair does not. One of the most important things for curly hair is proper moisture. Redken All Soft contains avocado oil, which the sales woman explained to me is a natural moisturizer and hair softener. It also contains amino acids and proteins which strenghten and deep condition your hair.

I went home and washed my hair with it. My hair was lusciously soft and manageable. I was quite impressed! Since then, Redken is my shampoo and conditioner brand of choice. Sometimes, my budget does not allow for buying Redken as it is definitely more expensive than your average Finesse or Thermasilk Shampoo. Most of the time, you have to get Redken from a beauty supply store or online as drug stores don't carry it. It's a professional salon shampoo. When I don't use Redken, my hair is just not the same. And I have used all kinds of shampoos and conditioners. For example, I have used V05, Suave, Finesse, Thermasilk, Infusium 23, Jojoba conditioners, and shampoos with balsamic protein. None of it works as well as Redken, believe me!

If you have curly hair, combine Redken All Soft shampoo and conditioner with theirStraight 05 Straightening Balm to smooth it all down and keep the curls manageable. It really helps to reduce the frizz and keeps my hair looking shiny and soft.

If Redken is a little pricey for you, try using a cost-effective shampoo with the Redken All Soft conditioner. It's fabulous! On a scale of 1-5, I would give it a 7.

Redken is a bit more expensive than your average shampoo, but it really does work. If you can find it on sale at a beauty supply store like Ulta or Sally's, definately get it. Once and a while, you can get 2 bottles for about $25, which is pretty good.

I'm an African American female and have been using All soft for over 5 years now. I try other stuff as I am a prodct junkie but i always return when my hair starts to break and become unmanageable. This and Joico Moisture Recovery conditioner and Shampoo are the best two products for my hair whether I wear it curly or straight!

I read in a magazine that Aveda is good for curly hair. I have not tried Aveda or Redken, but thank you. I am about to check the prices for these 2 products right now.:)
